More than 20 years of Tradition

In these 20 years trying to achieve excellence in the preparation of Hispanic cuisine, we have been rewarded for the repeated choice of our demanding clientele and not least, for the gratifying awarding of 9 awards that we highly value and that were a massage to our gastronomic soul and a stimulus to keep improving.
They are the ´´75 Hottest, Chefs & Eats´´ award given by the Miami Academy; the award given by the Gigón City Council for the dissemination of Asturian gastronomic culture abroad; the ´´Best Buy: Other Good Value Spanish Cuisine Tops´´ award, awarded by Zagat Rated; the ´´Excellent for good´´ award given by Zagat Rated; the ´´Miami Best Spanish Restaurant´´ award from the Association of Hispanic Journalist; the proclamation of December 10, 2013 as the day of Restaurant Xixón resolved by the Miami Dade Board of County Commissioners; the international category award ´´Dipper of good sea food stew´´ awarded by the Principality of Asturias; the award ´´The Best Restaurants in Miami of 2018´´ awarded by Published in Zomato; the ´´The Best Restaurants in Miami of 2019´´ award given by Published-New Times.
Xixón has 4 floors and 200 seats for diners.
A reception area serves customers who then go to a main room with decorated tables and a bar that recalls the typical Spanish tapas bars. On the second floor is the Mezzanini, a more reserved place used for wine dinners and private events.
The large terrace, a favorite place for our guests, surrounded by plants and protected from rain and winds, is the natural lung of our restaurant.
All of this complemented by a Deli with showcases that make up a gourmet market full of delicacies, which transport us to the Spanish terroir.
The spacious main kitchen has different well-defined stations for desserts, fish, meat, fried, processed and cold. It has complete industrial equipment, a cold room and a frozen room, a dry room with a large tank and an exclusive area for Diswasher.
The second kitchen, next to the Deli, is on display and is exclusively for cooking paellas.
